On 26 July 2019 at Avinashi Block Avinashi Edisan trust conduct Child Rights Awareness training focuses on recognizing and responding to suspected risk of harm to children and young people resulting from parent or carer concerns. improved understanding of domestic and family violence and parent/carer substance misuse and its impacts and indicators.
We work with communities to break down the inequitable systems and beliefs that force women and girls into marriage. At its core, forced child marriage is a fundamental violation of human rights. Every day around the world, women and girls are forced to marry against their will. On 13 July 2019 at Avinashi Block Avinashi Edisan trust organizes Child Marriage awareness and facilitates inclusion and participation of children works directly.
From the days of establishment of EDISAN TRUST, carries most of its activities in the community through Self Help Groups, which serve to be the backbone of all our projects. These SHGs are mainly trained on developing proper banking behavior and importance of small savings. Through this program they are also educated on book-keeping and chief functionary training.
Edisan Trust has been working with Arunthathiyar women in Alathur, Avinashi taluk. On 27/09/2019 at Alathur Edisan Trust organize Integrated Training for Arunthathiyar Women. About 10 NGO heads from various districts to this training programme along with women.

Thus, gender justice and training programmes are an integral part of our approach. The framework is a guiding tool in ascertaining five stages of journey.

Women in the community form an SHG of 10-20 women from a similar occupation, residency, or economic condition. Edisan Trust mobilizes introduce members to the concept of the SHG which includes internal savings, loans, and repayment and mobilizes build the capacity of SHG leaders so that they are able to manage the SHG independently.
